Located in the capital city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, it is the most important vehicle terminal, with weekly service to Puerto Rico on the Caribbean Ferry.

The port of Santo Domingo has three terminals, and they are used for import and export of fractional general cargo, loose general cargo, containerized, fuel, liquid and solid, and reception of tourist ships.
